How iDebut Works
iDebut is programmed to make your site Client-Side based, as opposed to Server-Side. Basically what this means, is that your site is independent of your server's software, making iDebut platform-independent, and freeing you from the need for a personal web programmer.
iDebut can even move with you as you move. Changed website or provider? Through the Setup Section of your Control Panel, you can simply define a new site, and your iDebut site will copy itself automatically to the new location!

What you'll need
iDebut will work on almost all webspaces. All you need is to have your site hosted with FTP support. FTP is short for File-Transfer-Protocol, and is the way files get uploaded and moved around between websites. Almost all hosting packages include FTP, even the smallest of them, just look that the package overview includes "FTP" or "File Transfer Protocol".

The Control Panel
Once you've ordered your iDebut website, you'll be given access to your Control Panel. This is the central hub for managing everything to do with your site - creating and uploading content, changing layouts, choosing colors and other design options, and changing setup options or moving your site's location.
The Control Panel is optimized for clarity and user-friendliness. Changes can be made over and over, items reorganized, options turned on, off and on again. Basically, we think it's important for you to feel free to play around, and have made sure that all the aspects of your Control Panel enable you maximum flexibility.

Language Support
Currently, iDebut supports extended Latin. That means English, but also languages with special characters and accents such as French, Portugese or German. In the coming months we plan to add additional lanuage support for Cryillic languages (Russian, Bulgarian, etc.) and Hebrew.
Search Engine Optimization
iDebut implements a special script which helps search engines find, read and index your site. Through your Control Panel you can type in the text which you wish to "feed" to search engines. That way, you can choose what information Google gets and how it sees your site.
